ithoughts on the 2005 vintage

“Initially in tasting I would have compared it with 1990, but with fresher fruit. However the wines have changed. It now looks more delicate and with more finesses than I thought before. The tannins made me think of 1990, ripe and round, giving a round and rich structure, but although it is rich in tannins, the tannins do not show. The fruit is fresher, purer and more delicate, so maybe 1990 and 2002 would be better. The body of 1990 and fruit of 2002.”
